New eSigning experience in Miramis

As part of our transition to Miramis Technologies (formerly Pocketlaw), we are introducing the first release of our new eSigning experience.

This update focuses on improving the signing experience for both senders and recipients, with a redesigned interface and expanded functionality.

The transition will be handled entirely by the Miramis technical team, and no action is required from your side.

Once the transition is completed, all new signing requests will be sent through Miramis’ new eSigning experience.

Documents that have already been sent for signing at the time of the transition will continue in the current solution (Signicat). They will either be completed as usual or automatically cancelled 45 days after the original send-out date.

There will be no disruption to documents already in progress.

What’s new

This release focuses on improved design, usability, and expanded functionality.

Improved signing experience

We have redesigned the signing interface to create a smoother and more intuitive signing journey.

This includes:

  • A redesigned signing page with improved usability

  • Updated email notifications with clearer information for recipients

  • A real-time overview of all signers and signing status directly on the signing page

  • All signing communications will now be sent with our updated branding Miramis Technologies

New roles

We are introducing additional roles to support more flexible approval and sharing flows.

Approver
A person who must approve the document before the signing request is completed. Approvers can be internal or external and can be included in the signing order.

Viewer
A recipient who receives the document at the same time as the signers and automatically receives the final signed copy.

New functionality

This release also introduces several new capabilities:

  • Custom placement of signature fields

  • Ability to add multiple full-size signature boxes

  • FTN (Finnish BankID) as a signing method

  • Option for recipients to reject a signing request, including a message to the sender

What’s coming next

This release is the first step in the continued evolution of our eSigning solution.

Additional improvements and enhancements will be rolled out during the spring.

Feedback

As always, we welcome your feedback.

Given that this is the first release of the new eSigning experience, your input is especially valuable as we continue improving the solution.
